How to Reach Jogja
By Airplane.
There are many airlines that can take you to Jogja, such as Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Lion Air, Singapore Airlines, and Malaysia Airlines, etc. During the pandemic, non-stop flights from Malaysia or Singapore are limited. Most of them require you to have a stop in Jakarta. From Jakarta, you can continue your travel to Jogja by another airplane or train.

By Train
Kereta Api Indonesia (Indonesian Railways) offers you many options of railway with excellent services & you can easily book your ticket through their app (KAI Access) that you can download from Play Store or App Store. The prices may vary, depending on the classes of trains you desire. There are two most popular stations in Jogja you can choose as your arrival destination; Tugu Station (YK) or Lempuyangan Station (LPN). Both stations are located downtown, therefore they are equally accessible.

By Bus & Shuttle
Bus and shuttle can be other options of public transportation if you want to go to Jogja by land. From Jakarta, you can choose Cibubur, Kalideres, or Kampung Rambutan bus stations as your departure. It will take about 13 hours from Jakarta in normal traffic conditions. Not only does it take hours to arrive, the traffic is often unbearable along with pollution and sweltering hot weather in it. Though it is indeed way cheaper than other public transportations. There are some bus stations in Jogja you can choose as your arrival destination, such as Giwangan, Jombor, and Prambanan.
