Gadjah Mada International Fellowship (GMIF) IS NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATION!

The Gadjah Mada International Fellowship (GMIF) program is a scholarship offered by Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) to international students coming from, but not limited to, ASEAN member countries (excluding Indonesia), South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and other countries that manage to demonstrate the need of financial assistance.

This program is dedicated to designated full-time and dual degree Master and Doctoral degree by coursework and research. The purpose of the GMIF program is to encourage potential candidates with excellent academic performance who wish to pursue the Master and Doctoral Program in any relevant and agreed field. Those with specific competence, such as researchers, policymakers, or professionals, will be prioritized in the application.

DREaM – UGM Summer Program on Disaster Research, Community Empowerment, and Microeconomics

The DREaM International Summer Program is a summer program that has been held by Universitas Gadjah Mada starting in 2009. The two-week program is worth two credits by combining academic learning and cultural activities in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas.

This year’s DREaM theme is Technology and Financial Inclusion for Sustainable Development. Industrial Revolution 4.0 has and will continue to bring significant changes in everyday life. Some of the most impactful things are how advancements in technology and finance have affected society’s economic and social life. Progress in these two fields will increase inequality if they cannot touch all elements of society. Conversely, advances in technology and finance become a catalyst for sustainable development when inclusion occurs in the community. read more
