  • Doctoral Program in Electrical Engineering
  • Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering

Scholarship Information

The DEIE Scholarship (Odd Semester) provides the following benefits:

  1. Tuition Fees
  • Doctoral Program: Coverage of tuition fees for 6 semesters.
  • Master’s Program: Coverage of tuition fees for 4 semesters.
  1. Student Dormitory Accommodation
  • Doctoral Program: Provision of dormitory accommodation for 6 semesters.
  • Master’s Program: Provision of dormitory accommodation for 4 semesters.
  1. Living Expenses
  • Doctoral Program: A monthly living allowance of 3 million IDR for 6 semesters.
  • Master’s Program: A monthly living allowance of 3 million IDR for 4 semesters.

Application Procedure

For prospective students who wish to apply for the DEIE Scholarship for the Odd Semester 2025/2026, please follow these steps:

  1. Online Registration
  • Register through the official portal: https://admission.ugm.ac.id/
  • Select the program: Master’s/Doctor’s Degree Program Odd Semester 2025/2026
  • Download the application guidelines from http://ugm.id/deie
  1. Upload Required Documents
  • Ensure all documents are prepared according to the requirements.
  • For the cover letter, upload it together with the CV in a single file.
  • Required documents:
    • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (for Master’s Program) or both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Certificates (for Doctoral Program)
    • Academic Transcript (minimum GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 for Bachelor’s and 3.5 out of 4.0 for Master’s)
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Application Letter (upload it together in a single file)
    • Letter of Recommendation
    • Passport
    • Research Proposal (for Thesis or Dissertation)
    • TOEFL ITP score of at least 500 or IELTS score of at least 5.5

DCSE Global Talent Scholarship 2025

DCSE Global Talent Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the Department of Computer Science and Electronics (DCSE) for overseas students to take a Master/Doctoral degree by research to demonstrate the need for financial assistance.

Up to six scholarships are available for eligible students to study in the Department of Computer Science and Electronics, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia in one of the following programs:

  • Master Program in Computer Science
  • Master Program in Artificial Intelligence
  • Master Program in Electronics and Instrumentation.
  • Doctoral Program in Computer Science

Main Requirements

Bachelor or Master certificate from a registered/official university in the country of origin. Preferably for ASEAN countries, but other countries may still apply. Prospective students must have citizenship other than Indonesia and come from abroad.=&1=&

What is a University card?

All students will be issued with a University card. This card will be issued once and remain valid throughout your entire study career. You University card will lapse when you deregister.

The University card can be used
* to borrow books from the University Library
* to access the University Library, Parking Area, etc.
* as proof of identity when you register for and sit exams
