Scholarship Information

The DEIE Scholarship (Odd Semester) provides the following benefits:

1. Tuition Fees

• Doctoral Program: Coverage of tuition fees for 6 semesters.
• Master’s Program: Coverage of tuition fees for 4 semesters.

2. Student Dormitory Accommodation

• Doctoral Program: Provision of dormitory accommodation for 6 semesters.
• Master’s Program: Provision of dormitory accommodation for 4 semesters.

3. Living Expenses

• Doctoral Program: A monthly living allowance of 3 million IDR for 6 semesters.
• Master’s Program: A monthly living allowance of 3 million IDR for 4 semesters.

Application Procedure

For prospective students who wish to apply for the DEIE Scholarship for the Odd Semester 2025/2026, please follow these steps:

1. Online Registration

2. Upload Required Documents

• Ensure all documents are prepared according to the requirements.
• For the cover letter, upload it together with the CV in a single file.
• Required documents:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (for Master’s Program) or both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Certificates (for Doctoral Program)
  • Academic Transcript (minimum GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 for Bachelor’s and 3.5 out of 4.0 for Master’s)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Application Letter (upload it together in a single file)
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Passport
  • Research Proposal (for Thesis or Dissertation)
  • TOEFL ITP score of at least 500 or IELTS score of at least 5.5

DCSE Global Talent Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the Department of Computer Science and Electronics (DCSE) for overseas students to take a Master/Doctoral degree by research to demonstrate the need for financial assistance.

Up to six scholarships are available for eligible students to study in the Department of Computer Science and Electronics, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia in one of the following programs:

• Master Program in Computer Science
• Master Program in Artificial Intelligence
• Master Program in Electronics and Instrumentation.
• Doctoral Program in Computer Science

  • Have a research proposal for with 1.5 years of timeline for Master, and 3 years for Doctoral.

The Indonesian AID Scholarship (TIAS) is a grant program from the Indonesian Government aims to support the achievement of SDGs targets, especially in the education sector. The scholarship is dedicated for overseas students of Master and Doctoral Degree. Priority will be given to students from Asian region and have not received any scholarships from other institutions/agencies/sponsors (candidates from other region may still apply).

Scholarship Scheme

Full Scholarship are awarded from the beginning until the end of the study period, with maximum of 4 semesters for Masters and 8 semesters for Doctoral degree;

On Going Scholarship are awarded for overseas students registered as students at Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, UGM. read more

Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Scholarship is a scholarship program offered for students coming from Non-Aligned Movement member countries under the cooperation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and the Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation.

The scholarship will offer international students a unique experience of Indonesia’s higher education institution and multicultural community. Scholarship awardees will have the opportunity to learn the Indonesian language and culture and engage with the local communities they live in.
